"Alliana (Noble Grace, Noble Favor) the Elf"

This is Alliana the Elf.  Her name means noble grace or noble favor.  Alliana is a OOAK (one of a kind) pure sculpt that was created without the use of molds of any kind. She is #001 in the Elf series and she will not be duplicated.  She has shielding power which is an attribute that is very rare and only the very truthful and strong elves are graced with this gift.  Sheilding power is the ability to protect another from magical attack using one's own healing power.

She is made from Aves Apoxie Sculpt and polymer clay.  She is a very strong sculpture.  Actually I have tried to break a marble sized ball of cured Apoxie Sculpt with a pair of pliers and I could not break it.

The costuming is constructed with a collage of vintage laces and embellishments including turquoise, rose quartz, abalone shell, natural Mica (not shellac bonded), rhinestones, and many types of beads.

Her eyes are green and gold and her lips are variations of red.  Her skin is a pearl white color and glistens when the sun shines down on her face.

Alliana extends her hand out as a gesture of maternal protection and love.  She is dressed in the gifts she has been given by those she has bestowed charity and protection upon and she in turn offers these gifts back to those she sees if they have a truthful or meek nature.

Height - 4.5 inches in her sitting position including her head piece.

"Flame Fae"

This is a one of a kind (OOAK) Art Doll.  # 002 in the "Faery" series of dolls that will be presented.

Flame is made from polymer clay.  She was sculpted over a strong wire armature and the armature wire extends all the way into the ends of each finger as well.  She has hand painted green and gold eyes.   Her wings are made from copper and are very colorful  and are not removable.

She is wearing a scant covering of gold leaf which matches her wings, eyes, and hair.  She also holds a real freshwater pearl.  Her nails have all been painted gold.  Her little body was oven fired after being sculpted then it was sanded, and sanded, and buffed with leather.  This extra work gives her skin a very satiny finish.

The photos don't do her justice.  I wish I were a better photographer but I'm working on it so please bear with me.

I realize that her lips are big and so are her eyes.  I could not change them because she was already baked and this sculpt was one that I started over a year ago and I had put her away for quite a while. My skills have developed since I took a break on her but she had to be finished (she was wispering to me to get off my lazy butt and give her some life and I couldn't sleep!) I'm still developing my skills.  I just thought that I should finish her because she deserved it....tee-he

Flame_12a.jpg Flame_13a.jpg Flame_14a.jpg Flame_15a.jpg

Well, this is the reason her name is Flame, because she has a bit of a temper.  I guess I would be mad too if someone put me in a dark cabinet for six months.  She couldn't leave the cabinet because it was too high up and she didn't have any wings yet.  And by the way, I thought that fairies weren't supposed to be vain......well this one is.  She was so mad that I didn't give her any hair that she made some for herself.  She did a pretty good job with the materials she had in that dark cabinet.  She used Apoxie Sculpt to made each hair spike then she painted them (yup, all by herself.)

So when I couldn't take her constant nagging anymore, I got off my butt and made her some copper wings that would be perfect for this fiery little fae.  I also gave her a pearl because I felt so bad about the way I treated her.

She is doing the splits.  I'm not quite sure if she is doing this because she is such a show-off or maybe she just needs to stretch her legs because she was couped up for so long.  I asked her but she's still mad at me.  Maybe you can get her to answer you???
